We are looking for full-time content editors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proofread and copyedit content to ensure it adheres to the desired Educational standards as per the education regulatory bodies
- Follow up with content creators and give constructive feedback
- Strategize on how to maintain the quality of content
- Allocate content creation assignments to content designers
- Create content of highest quality for students preparing for assessments both at school and national level
- Create and update Content Masters according to the approved syllabus for content creation
- Assist in planning for and conduct teacher training workshops on content creation, editing, ask-a-teacher and feedback giving
- Give feedback to other team members on creation, ask-a-teacher and editing to enhance efficiency
- Work closely with the Content Team to brainstorm and appropriately adjust content for the online, android and SMS platforms
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Content Manager and other team members
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor of Education (B.ed Arts), preferably English/Lit
- At least 3 years of experience as a teacher in the Kenyan Curriculum
- Have exceptional content knowledge and a deep understanding of students’ learning needs
- Must be fluent in English. Precise grammar and spelling is expected
- Computer proficient; must be able to use Google Docs and Spreadsheets
- Clear communication often is absolutely necessary
- Must be a glutton for feedback and have extreme attention to detail
- Must be passionate about working in education sector
